What can I do to improve my appearance?
An upper lid blepharoplasty would improve the appearance of upper eyelids. This is a very successful procedure resulting in a natural outcome. It will give a more attractive appeal to the eyes.
Dr. Byun creates an incision along the natural eyelid fold and uses an anchor technique. This technique involves the septum being opened so a small amount of medial fat can be excised. Then the flap of the upper lid skin is anchored to the aponeurosis of the levator using dissolvable sutures.
The external sutures will be removed at your one week follow up appointment. You will experience extreme swelling, minimal bruising, and watery eyes for 24-72 hours after surgery. You should allow three months for complete healing.
